ClassTools.net At Medford Area Middle School, we are working to build students' vocabulary for both reading and writing through the study of Greek and Latin roots; and we guide our students to master a list of 15 roots each month in the eighth grade. I like to use the Arcade Generator to differentiate and to extend students' engagement in learning past the school day. Since I have been creating these games and posting links to them on my school webpage, students are highly motivated to learn their Greek and Latin roots; their ability to compete against each other's scores further inspires them to play and learn. It does not take a lot of time to create the games with ClassTools.net, and it is user-friendly. This website also has a great timer that has the ability to incorporate music with the visual of a countdown; occasionally, I use the projector to show it on my classroom screen during timed activities.
